Venus lectured in a Law College in India before migrating to New Zealand 12 years ago. Venus completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Management at NMIT while working in the retail industry. Being passionate about the business community, elderly and tamariki, she serves as a director on a few organisations including the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce, Nelson Tasman Kindergarten Association and Abbeyfield NZ. Committed to her career in the governance path, Venus has joined the Institute of Directors and is also a member of the local committee.
Venus’s significant experience in FMCG, retail systems, applications and products in data processing has given her excellent business knowledge applicable to many industries. With a strong focus on branding, range, quality of products, service offering, team culture and stakeholder relationship, she can bring these areas of expertise to most of the organisations.
Venus is hugely passionate about Nelson Tasman region. She believe in sustainable growth, continued improvement and development of our people. She is dedicated to the value growth and prosperity of a business and region by adding value to people and increasing the value of the brand.
