Sam Put

Business Partner, BNZ | CEO and Founder, Put Education Consultant (PEC), Palmerston North

Sam came to NZ at the age of 9 years old in 1989 without his parents was sponsored by St Mathew’s church as a refugee. New Zealand has become his adopted home country and he now works for the Bank of New Zealand.

He spends his spare time involved in coaching the Senior Men’s Hokowhitu Soccer team, volunteering with the Refugee Services and developing the Manawatu Cambodian Refugee community in Palmerston North.

He has spent the last 10 years with BNZ in various roles with his most recent roles being in the Private Banking Investment and Financial Planning team and in 2014, he became a Business Partner for the Manawatu region.
