Jenny Liu

China Services Group Leader, Director – Tax, Deloitte

Jenny is a tax director at Deloitte and leads Deloitte’s Chinese Services Group in New Zealand.

Jenny has been with Deloitte for over 17 years and has served many large corporate clients in both tax and business advisory areas.  Jenny has previously worked for Deloitte Beijing and understands the tax and general business regulatory systems in both New Zealand and China.

Jenny has played a key role in coordinating various transactions in relation to Chinese investors’ investments in New Zealand.  Jenny has extensive business advisory experience across a wide range of industries, including farming, food processing, dairy, forestry, resources and infrastructure.

She was involved in providing business and regulatory advice for Chinese investors investing in New Zealand, undertaking tax due diligence, assisting with financial due diligence process, providing tax planning and structuring advice, and assisting with day to day accounting and tax compliance and advisory matters.

Jenny is a chartered accountant of New Zealand and was a member of the China Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Jenny is highly regarded in New Zealand as a business advisor on cross border investment between New Zealand and China.
