President, New Zealand Nepal Society Inc.

Dinesh Khadka is a key and well-established member of the New Zealand Nepal Society Inc., and he is currently the President. Dinesh has been involved in helping the Nepalese Community of New Zealand grow and establishing a platform for Nepali families and students moving to New Zealand. He has been in constant collaboration with multiple community leaders to showcase the strong cultural ties that we have in the Community.

He has his own commercial property service business which has been in operation since 2005, and his wealth of experience has created more than 50 jobs for the Community. With the goals of supporting young Nepalese students transitioning into the country.

Dinesh’s involvement with the Community has resulted in the award for outstanding support in the way of sponsorship for multiple Nepalese sports clubs as well as a prize for Excellence in services to the Nepalese Community – awarded by Indian News Link Sports, Community, Arts & Cultural Awards in 2019. He is also constantly involved with the Himalayan Trust. He has taken part in multiple fundraising efforts to support communities back home in Nepal to the areas that need them.
