Ben Cleland

Ben Cleland is an Associate at LangtonHudsonButcher Lawyers, a member of the prolific comedy duo, Tough Tiger Fist, former President of the University of Auckland Comedy Club, and an alumni of Chen Palmer Partners and the Superdiversity Institute. Ben graduated from the University of Auckland in 2018 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and graduated as the Dux of Waiuku College in 2012.

Outside of the law, Ben is a regular performer in the Auckland stand up comedy scene, performing at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and Auckland Fringe Festival, and recently performed an original song at the Law Society’s End of Year Celebration. Ben enjoys video games and plays a Half-Orc Warlock named Kristoff in Dungeons and Dragons. Ben has watched all 16 seasons of Project Runway with his parents, who live in Waiuku and keep busy by fussing over their pet English Angora rabbit, Suzuki, now that both their children have left home.
