Anna Yang

Founder, Futureway Connections Ltd
Anna Yang is a social entrepreneur, community young leader, and event host. Graduated from University of Auckland with a bachelor degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Management majors in 2013, Anna started her journey in a global logistics supply chain company: CEVA Logistics, and won a few awards such as CEVA Shine Award, CEVA Australia & NZ Best Young Achiever finalist 2016, being the first Chinese to be nominated since the establishment of the award. In 2016, Anna founded Futureway Connections Limited, a social enterprise that provides cross-cultural branding, event management, PR and marketing services; and builds a platform for businesses, non-profit organizations and young talents to help each other to grow, and to make a social influence.
With a Chinese background, Anna has a big passion to encourage young people from different ethnic backgrounds to serve the local community. Anna was the former president of New Zealand Chinese Students Association, and won the outstanding Student leadership award in Auckland Regain in 2013. She is also a current committee member of St John Auckland Central Region, and a committee member of New Zealand Chinese Youth Federation.
Anna has done a lot of volunteer works such as protecting animals in “The Big Five Reserve” in Johannesburg, South Africa; organizing fund raising campaigns for non-profit organizations and organizing and hosting over hundreds of events in the local communities.
