Asia & Maori “Growing Business Relationships”

This session was an opportunity for key Asian and Maori leaders from the business, education and community sectors to network and identify how we can work greatly with each other and how we can help lead New Zealand as two significant groups that together with Pasifika will make up to half of New Zealand’s population in the future.

Held on Wednesday 14 May 2014

The Maori economy is substantial and growing with a need for capital and expertise to maximise settlements. The significant inflow of Asian migrants have an interest in investing in assets, and to bring their expertise to business. There are also many cultural similarities that make it easier for Maori and Asian cultures to do business and trade together for the benefit of NZ Inc. This session was led by Mai Chen (Chair of NZ Asian Leaders)

Thank you to BNZ for their support in hosting this event.
