NZAL Ambassador Carl Worker – “a candid address on his time in China” – Members only session

NZAL Ambassador and former NZ Ambassador to China – Carl Worker – “a candid address on his time in China”

Facilitated by NZAL Advisory Board and established member, Ming Lim-Pollard

Tuesday 2nd August 2016

Carl is a veteran NZ diplomat with deep experience of China and it has been said “one of NZs top experts on all China matters”.  In 2015 Carl concluded an extended term as New Zealand Ambassador to China (2009-2015) where he headed a NZ Inc operation totalling 300 staff from 10 government agencies based at 5 locations in China. Carl’s address given under ‘chatham house rules” was not to be missed, and those who attended took home with his thoughts on policy and business insights in China.

It was a wonderful networking opportunity for NZAL Young and Established members, to network and get to know each other. In attendance were Mayor Meng Foo, Adriana Tong, Director, Asia Pacific Partners, Donald and Jennie Sew Hoy, Helene Wong, Jim Mora and Mary Lambie, among others.
