This morning’s joint breakfast session was attended by members of New Zealand Asian Leaders (NZAL) and SUPERdiverse WOMEN (SDW), sponsors, corporate members and key supporters of NZAL and SDW. It follows the successful dinner with the Prime Minister, Hon Bill English.
Hosted by NZAL corporate member, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the diverse audience of over 130 leaders were given a glimpse into why Jacinda Ardern came into politics, what she wants to achieve, her priorities and vision for NZ, what if she becomes the Prime Minister of New Zealand, and what the Labour Party stands for.
Covering policy themes ranging from immigration to housing, mental health, services for disabled New Zealanders, welfare and infrastructure and how Labour would pay for all of these commitments, this morning’s session provided Jacinda with the opportunity to engage with and get an insight into the topics and issues of importance to top diverse leaders.
Thanks to SDW Emerging Leader, Kirsten Te Wao, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, Vodafone for the vote of thanks and the 20 questions from top leaders.
Thank you to cameraperson, Yong WU, WTV and NZAL Emerging Leader and photographer Tim Widjaja for their support.
