Portfolio Monitoring Analyst, Housing New Zealand

Jeffrey is currently a portfolio monitoring analyst at Housing New Zealand, before that he worked at the University of Auckland Property Services and also New Zealand Fire Service (NZFS) as a Business Analyst. His responsibility includes distributing performance information widely and ensuring that management is aware when the service delivery could be improved. Jeffrey is also involved with the design & development of risk reduction model in NZFS Geographic Information System (GIS) where he developed a computational model to calculate the potential fire risks areas throughout New Zealand. The results from the model significantly optimise NZFS service delivery in all missions such as preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery.

Jeffrey has a Bachelor of Science (Honours), a Postgraduate Diploma in Science, and a Master of Science from the University of Auckland. During his time as a research student, he was also a graduate teaching assistant responsible for stage III and stage I GIS courses. Jeffrey is currently studying towards a Master of Business Administration at Auckland University of Technology. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
