Organised and facilitated by the NZAL Wellington Committee, the last NZ Asian Leaders event of the year was an amazing panel discussion with three superdiverse leaders, Meng Foon, Race Relations Commissioner, Jacinta Gulasekharam, Co-Founder of Dignity and Partnership Manager at FlexiTime and Carlo Lim, Co-founder, Youth Outreach NZ and Auditor, Ernst & Young.
Talking about their experiences of growing up in New Zealand, the speakers shared their stories of surviving, thriving and leading personally as well as professionally in New Zealand. The discussion revolved around small town inspiration to big town dreams, the values in faith, belief and ambition, power of communities and individual choices to make your own mark. The speakers spoke how their own stories evolved and led to where they are now as individuals.
Thank you to the sponsorship of Bank of New Zealand for this event. Stay tuned for video from the session which will be released soon.
